Senior Automation Engineer

As part of our Automation team, you will play a key role in building and evolving a robust automation infrastructure that supports complex, scalable products. 

You will help shape automation architecture, tooling, and best practices, work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment, and directly influence the quality, reliability, and scalability of our platform. 

This role combines hands-on automation development with system-level thinking. 

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test infrastructure 
• Write and maintain high-quality automated tests (API, integration, and UI) 
• Educate and collaborate with R&D teams on testing strategies, quality practices, and automation approaches 
• Shape automation architecture, design patterns, and development paradigms 
• Work closely with R&D teams daily in an Agile environment 
• Contribute to scalability, reliability, and quality improvements across the platform 
• Take ownership of automation solutions, from concept to production usage 

• 5+ years of experience in test automation 
• Strong Python experience (at least 3 years) and experience with TypeScript/Playwright 
• Experience testing API-first / backend-heavy systems 
• Ability to design test infrastructure, not just write test cases 
• Strong understanding of client–server architectures, microservices, and protocols 
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines 
• Strong motivation to automate everything 

Big advantages 

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s) environments 
• Experience or strong interest in GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD-style thinking) 
• Exposure to cloud-native automation in production-like systems 
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies or strong motivation to learn 

You don’t need to be an expert in all the above — curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn are key. 

• Mobile automation experience 
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch 
• Good understanding of automation project architecture and common design patterns 
• Experience with performance or stress testing environments
